My experiences with italki have been great so far. Language learning has been a life long passion of mine. Not only does it a provide a satisfying cognitive stimulation like no other, but it also allows me to connect with people from a wide variety of cultures. I used to only be able to connect with Cantonese or English speaking people, but through my studies with Spanish, I've been able to connect with random people/strangers in my area, and I've found it incredibly fun and eye-opening to get to know people from all over the world and all walks of life. I hope to accomplish the same with Japanese once I get to a decent level of speaking proficiency. I have no regrets using italki, and it's a great service to find tutors and speaking partners to help improve my Spanish/Japanese.
